Finishing note: Walnut ’s grain becomes dramatically deeper and more beautiful under transparent finish. It typically requires 1 –2 extra finish coats compared to species such as oak or beech. For a flawless result, final sand to 220-grit minimum and apply a sanding sealer before the clear topcoat.
